As a result of the end of the state of alarm decreed by the central government, the Mallorcan entity reopens its doors to resume its face-to-face activity.
Therefore, the Foundation’s central headquarters located at San Jaime, 4 street in Palma, are open again to the public but only in the morning and it is necessary to make an appointment before any visit.
But with the beginning of this “new normality”, the Foundation has decided to take different measures after the coronavirus pandemic. First of all to call a meeting of the Board that will be held on Monday 29 June, where the Foundation’s highest governing bodies will study COVID-19 impact on 2020 budgets and actions, and also approve the annual accounts for 2019.
In second term, to temporarily suspend all art exhibitions and tours planned for the second half of 2020 that involved the people’s massive assistance. The exhibition halls at the headquarters in Palma and at the Centre d’Art i Cultura in Felanitx cannot guarantee the established health recommendations, such as maintaining an interpersonal distance of 2 meters, so all the exhibitions will take place in 2021.
Finally, now on the Capella Mallorquina (sponsored by the Barceló Foundation) should offer all its concerts in the open air and not in closed spaces. For this reason, they have already confirmed their performance on the 24th and 25th of July at the Castell de Son Mas in Andratx.
