Gustavo Dellyi, who collaborates with us since years, has launched a campaign to raise funds to set up and maintain a nursery in the remote area of Turkana, northern Kenya.
Although Gustavo lives in San Francisco, California, he has had no impediment in advising us as an engineer specializing in water issues, voluntarily travelling to Uganda to carry out the preliminary prospecting necessary for the construction of four wells in Nakaseke.
Once in Africa and getting first-hand knowledge of the projects we carry out, he has joined our initiatives through various actions, one of which has been to improve the facilities of the Padibe Health Center. Thanks to their funding and working hand in hand with the workers of the center, they painted the entire outpatients’ area.
In this new initiative, Gustavo has decided to help us with the projects in Kenya. We currently fund 14 nurseries and thanks to the money raised through the “Sponsor Children in a Nursery in Ekopus, Kenya” campaign on GOFUNDME platform, we will be able to add one more.
With 3.000 euros we can provide food for 100 children and also pay the salary of a caregiver and one mother who will prepare the meal for one year.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, GUSTAVO!
