The Farmasol Tanzania Project have the aim to detect, treat and recover from childhood physical and mental disabilities cases.

Once the cases are detected in the villages of the Karagwe area in the north of the country, our team of social workers and therapists ensure that the families receive the necessary counselling so that the children are treated normally and not isolated from society.

In cases where it is possible to carry out surgery, the Foundation covers the costs of the surgery in the country’s hospitals to improve the children’s living conditions. After the operations, the team, which also includes physiotherapists, is responsible for rehabilitation and the provision of the necessary devices, such as crutches, wheelchairs or simply special chairs for the most complicated cases.

So far we have achieved 400 interventions that have improved the mobility and quality of life of the patients.
