Today we want to announce the renewal, once again, of Farmasol Padibe, the first of all Farmasol projects.

Farmasol Padibe is a project located in northern Uganda, which began in 2015. Its objective is to guarantee the health of the population, thanks to the supply of medicines and materials necessary for the operation of the health center. In addition to satisfying this main objective, we want to highlight that the project also includes maternity and safe delivery programs, free treatment for children born in the health center, and microcredit programs for the economic development of savings groups. The Barceló Foundation has invested more than €120,000 in this project from its beginnings to the present.

The project is maintained thanks to the good management of the local partner: Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate, to whom we have already dedicated a letter of thanks for their wonderful work. Its current manager is Sister Rosalba Oroma, who at the same time oversees the St. Peter and Paul Health Center III.
